Purpose of the course
The purpose if this course is to introduce students to the basics of the statistical software Stata for data analysis with the aim of solving real life problems.

In general, the major objectives of this course are to introduce students to the skills on how to design and conduct sample surveys. The skills include identifying and developing specific survey objectives; designing survey studies, sampling respondents, developing reliable and valid self-administered questionnaires, and administering surveys. The students will also learn how to minimize errors and conduct pilot surveys.
