PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
The course Curriculum development is designed to assist prospective educators to:
- Develop and promote an awareness of the aims and goals of education in a developing society.
- Enhance their understanding and ability for analysis and development of educational programmes geared towards meeting the needs of learners and the society.
- Develop skills and abilities for constant assessment, revision and development of appropriate curriculum and syllabus material to meet changing times and demands.
- Inculcate professionalism, motivation and insights necessary for leadership in curricular development and innovation.
