The purpose of this course is to introduce students to General Methods of Teaching as a systematic way of planning, developing and conducting teaching in a classroom as a controlled environment, to acquaint students with various strategies, approaches/techniques and practices of teaching and learning. This course will help students clarify current and emerging trends that are involved in teaching as a technical and professional activity, as well as ICT facilitated and OER use in teaching in a global and African context
